Thanks to the Oscar-winning documentary 'Searching for Sugar Man', singer-songwriter Sixto Rodriguez has become the great musical revelation of the year. After releasing two unsuccessful albums in the United States between 1970 and 1971, the Mexican-American musician from Detroit left the music industry unaware that in South Africa his songs had became an anthem for a nation mired in the struggle against apartheid. More than 30 years later, Rodriguez, who was scheduled to play at Primavera Sound 2013 but it fell through, took to the road to dust off his guitar and resurrect songs like 'I Wonder' and 'Crucify Your Mind'.
