London quartet Veronica Falls returns to Barcelona and Primavera Sound with their second album, 'Waiting for Something to Happen' (2012), which managed to avoid the second-year blues with more of the top-notch noisy pop and fab refrains we got from their debut. The night heats up with Parquet Courts, a must-see Brooklyn rock band, with their debut 'Light up Gold', and Cheatahs, a London-based Nathan Hewitt project with a sound somewhere between the indie pop of the '90s and the melancholy of Elliott Smith.
