Palau 100: Verdi's Requiem

The Palau de la Música Catalana opens its season with a great work that needs no introduction: Giuseppe Verdi's 'Mass for the dead'. The concert by the London Symphony Orchestra is conducted by Gianandrea Noseda; and the choirs are local groups, the Orfeó Català and the Coro Joven del Orfeó. Solo vocalists are Erika Grimaldi, Violeta Urmana, Saimir Pirgu and Michele Pertusi.
