Othello

Verdi's penultimate opera, and without a doubt one of his most well-known, is back at the Liceu, where it's taken the stage more than 150 times, the last time in 2006. Based on the Shakespearean tragedy, this production is brought to you buy the Deutche Oper Berlin, with musical direction by Philippe Auguin, and stage direction by Andreas Kriegenburg. Among the vocal soloists are José Cura, Stuart Neill, Carl Tanner, Ermonela Jaho and Maria Katzarava, who will play the main roles of Othello and Desdemona, in a total of nine performances.
