Orfeó Català + Simon Halsey

The Orfeó Català performs at home in the Palau de la Música Catalana, under the direction of their own conductor, Simon Halsey. The programme of religious music includes pieces by Pau Casals, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Francis Poulenc and Maurice Duruflé (you'll hear Duruflé's 'Requiem'). Solo vocalists are Josep-Ramon Olivé and Tànit Bono, and keep an ear out for Lluís Claret on cello and Juan de la Rubia playing the organ.
