OBC: A night on Broadway

The Barcelona Symphony and Catalonia National Orchestra perform pieces from Broadway musicals, which have always been a hit with fans of orchestral concerts as well as musicals themselves. This time around the star composer is Andrew Lloyd Webber. You'll hear pieces from some of his biggies such as 'Jesus Christ Superstar', 'Evita' and 'The Phantom of the Opera', among others. Musical direction is by Alfonso Casado Trigo, and featured singers are Joanna Ampil, Celinde Schoenmaker, John Owen Jones and Geronimo Rauch, in addition to a choir group made up of a series of Catalan choirs.
