The musical part of the last day of the Mutek Festival in the Antiga Fàbrica Estrella Damm features the performance of one of the most anticipated duos this year: VILOD. Artists Ricardo Villalobos – considered one of the masters of contemporary techno – and Max Loderbauer will be joined for their live show by Swiss clarinet player and producer Claudio Puntin and by the magnetic projections and images of Alba G. Corral. Corral will also be performing with Valentin Stip, coming to the festival from Montreal with a live show full of sound textures, melodies and space sounds.
Uwe Schmidt (aka Atom™) joins forces with Burnt Friedman to present his latest album of electronica-inspired jazz, 'Lollopy Dripper', as Flanger, a 16-year-old project bringing the worldwide premiere of his new live show to Barcelona's Mutek. Also ones to watch is Canadian composer Kara-Lis Coverdale, who will present her 'sacred', digital and deep pieces of music, as well as Vaghe Stelle, the latest from Italian musician and producer Daniele Mana, offering reconfigured sounds of his recent works.
