The London Community Gospel Choir, who close out this sixth edition of the Músiques Sensibles concert series, was started in 1982 by Reverend Bazil Meade in London. The choir quickly grew, with members from all around the city. Versatile, flexible and known for their dynamic sound and rich harmonies, they can be heard on 'Circle of Life' from 'The Lion King', and they've collaborated with huge artists such as George Michael, James Brown, Sting, Nick Cave, Paul McCartney, Madonna, Tina Turner and more. The London Community Gospel Choir is undoubtedly one of the best gospel-soul groups in Europe, their energetic and powerful performances are unmissable, and their voices are nothing short of spectacular.
