Músiques Sensibles 2014: Halldor Mar + Illa Carolina

Icelandic artist Halldór Mar presents 'Winds' (2014), an album that features songs in English that are versions of popular Catalan songs from the movement known as 'nova cançó' in early-1970s Catalonia. With his own folk rock style, Mar wanted to move these tunes by artists such as Joan Manuel Serrat, Jaume Sisa and Raimon into his universe. The energetic pop of Illa Carolina completes the bill.
