As per usual during the Mercè festivities, Av. Reina María Cristina fills with music put on by three of the most popular radio stations in Catalonia. Cadena 100 takes over the first day with four live shows featuring rumba, reggae and funk from Macaco (aka Daniel Carbonell) (1am), who presents his latest album, 'Historias Tattooadas' (2015). Also taking the stage are musician Miquel Abras (11.30pm); Radio Picnic (10.15pm) with their pop and psychedelic lyrics; and the synth pop of Barcelona group Deco Pilot (9pm).
