Time Out says

How about the Andalusian 'copla' as a big band? Hardworking musician Marc Egea and his band Kaulakau asked themselves the same question in 2012 and asked the Cobla Sant Jordi Ciutat de Barcelona to collaborate on an album. The result was 'Mare Uut', which you can now enjoy performed live and that puts you in contact with the ethno-jazz of a group made up of four musicians from different style backgrounds and a band so versatile as they are ready to experiment performing with new sounds and musicians. The tenora and the hurdy-gurdy are two of the stars of these pieces, where the Cobla Sant Jordi Ciutat de Barcelona incorporates the sounds of an emblematic instrument of copla music and another from the universe of folk music.
