Vibraphone player, composer, producer and director Simon Moullier is one of the best vibraphonists and jazz musicians in general of his generation. Born in Paris in 1994, Moullier first held drumsticks when he went to secondary school. He immediately stood out as an original and virtuouso instrumentalist. Trained in classical percussion, he completed his studies in the USA, at the Berklee College of Music and The Thelonious Monk Institute, in a period in which he shared the stage with important figures like Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, John Patitucci, Danilo Pérez, Miguel Zenón and Jimmy Heath, and he collaborated on recordings by Mark Turner and Kendrick Scott.
