Mas i Mas Festival 2019: Hypnotic Brass Ensemble

From Chicago comes this Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, one of the most important brass bands on the planet. Their sound spans genres, including hip hop and funk, jazz and rock, and brings together a group of excellent musicians who also happen to be the sons of the late jazz musician Kelan Phil Cohran, a legendary member of Sun Ra Arkestra. The brothers carry on the legacy of their father and the spirit of traditional New Orleans jazz bands, to serve up a powerful show in which they use contemporary elements of African American culture.
