Under the impetus and direction of double bass player Ivan Kovacevic, the Barcelona Big Blues Band has become one of the most sought-after on the local swing, jazz and R&B scene. Their energetic sound, wild and sophisticated at the same time, makes the band unique and irresistible. You could say they follow the tradition of great bands like those of T-Bone Walker or Johnny Otis, but their range goes even further, incorporating big-name solo artists into their live performances, including Ray Gelato, Mike Sanchez, Drew Davies, Dani Nel·lo and Lluís Coloma.
