Among the musicians who mark a before and an after in the history of jazz, John Coltrane (1926-1967) is one of the most revered. The release of his album 'A Love Supreme' (1965) was a climax not only of his career but also of the entire genre of jazz. This year marks 50 years since the artist's death, and to celebrate his life and work, Swedish drummer and Barcelona resident Anton Jarl, a great admirer of Coltrane's sound who knows his work well, brings together a quartet to re-create and pay tribute to this masterpiece.
