Mas i Mas Festival 2015: Bob Sands & Dexterity feat. Kirk Lightsey

Among the giants of jazz, Dexter Gordon (1923-1990) stood out as an artist just as he did physically at well over six feet tall. He was one of the jazz greats who best connected with  European audiences and, from a local point of view, he was one of the best friends and colleagues of Catalan jazz pianist Tete Montoliu (1933-1997). A tribute to Dexter Gordon always shakes the foundations of the Jamboree jazz club, so you can expect a huge night with performances from greats saxophonist Bob Sands and pianist Kirk Lightsey.
