Among the musicians who have marked a turning point in the history of jazz, John Coltrane (1926-1967) is one of biggest. The release of his album 'A Love Supreme' (1965) is one of the peaks not only of his career but of the jazz genre as a whole. This year marks 50 years since the album came out, and to celebrate the anniversary, Swedish drummer resident in Barcelona Anton Jarl, an admirer and connoisseur of Coltrane’s sound, has brought together a quartet to re-create his masterpiece. A declaration of love supreme to close out the San Miguel Mas i Mas Festival at Jamboree.
