Madama Butterfly

'Madama Butterfly', one of Puccini's most popular operas, comes to Barcelona in a coproduction from the Gran Teatre del Liceu and Covent Garden in London. Giampaolo Bisante conducts the Liceu symphony orchestra and chorus during these performances, with stage direction by Moshe Leiser and Patrice Caurier. Among the vocalists, Lianna Haroutounian, Ainhoa Arteta, Ana Ibarra, Justina Gringyte, Mercedes Gancedo, Jorge de León and Rame Lahaj take on the main roles in the ten January performances.
