Macy Gray

Macy Gray is a Grammy-winning multi-platinum pop artist, but she considers herself a jazz singer. She started her career with jazz bands, and that's the side she's showing off now on her new album, 'Stripped', her ninth studio effort, which she presents tonight at Razzmatazz. The record has got a nocturnal and intimate feel, and highlights include the subtle and intense track 'Annabelle', and the ballad 'The First Time'.
