La Mercè 2018: Mediterràniament

Is there any more Mediterranean spot to hold a concert than at the beach? On Saturday 22, at Bogatell Beach, you can catch La iaia (9.30pm), a band from Osona closing out their tour in promotion of their latest album, 'Tornar a ser u'; Love of Lesbian (11.30pm), where Santi Balmes and company play the hits of their 20-year career; and Fundación Tony Manero (1.30am), another veteran band playing their good-time tunes.

On Sunday 23 the music by the sea continues with Dr. Prats (9pm), who are back at La Mercè with songs from their 'Venim de lluny'; Els Catarres (11pm), with their most famous anthems as well as ditties from their latest work 'Fins que arribi l'alba'; and Gertrudis (1am), who are back stronger than ever after some time off.
