Time Out in partnership with Gastronosfera

The Estrella Damm Antiga Fàbrica fills up with music for all the family once more as part of La Mercè's extensive musical programme. This year, the line-up is an eclectic one featuring bands throughout the afternoon and evening.

The party starts at 5.15pm as the fivesome Kou keri kou present their eponymous debut album. Straight after them, at 6.15pm, enjoy the smooth pop of Renaldo&Clara courtesy of their second record, 'Els afores'. At 7.15pm, Mallorcan singer Joana Gomila performs her take on northern European pop with 'Folk Souvenir', and she's followed by the Madrid group Melange, who give a concert that showcases their ability to combine post-rock, psychedelic rock and folk from a variety of sources.

Barcelona singer-songwriter Pau Vallvé takes to the stage at 9.15pm to present his double album, 'Abisme cavall hivern primavera i tornar', while at 10.15pm it will be the turn of Zulu Zulu. Hailing from Mallorca, they'll give us a listen of their debut record, 'Defensa zebra', which mixes contemporary psychedelica with a certain atavistic connection. Finally, at 11.15pm, Spiral Stairs arrive; this is the solo project of Scott Kannberg that has clear Bowie, Dylan and Smog influences.
