Isabelle Faust

German violinist Isabelle Faust is back in town, this time for a solo recital in the Palau de la Música Catalana. The programme is a tour de force for any musician, and few violinists dare to take it on: playing the entire 'Sonatas and Partitas for solo violin' by Johann Sebastian Bach. It's a monumental piece and one of the heights of performance on violin.
