Il Trovatore

The current season at the Gran Teatre del Liceu, Barcelona's splendid opera house, is reaching its end, and the penultimate item on the programme is one of Verdi's most popular works, Il Trovatore, directed here by Joan Anton Rechi, with musical director Daniele Callegari. There will be a total of nine performances between July 17 and 29, with a double cast featuring Artur Ruciński, George Petean, Kristin Lewis, Tamara Wilson, Marianne Cornetti, Ekaterina Gubanova, Marco Berti and Yonghoon Lee, among others. The orchestra and chorus will be those of the Liceu.
