Hindustani Music

This Indian music concert is part of the Art Music of the World cycle and in collaboration with the project CompMusic. Hindustani music is an important tradition of classical music in the northern part of India, popularised in the West especially by Ravi Shankar. The event is made up of two parts, a presentation (in English) on Hindustani music by Sankalpa Gulati, a researcher of the Music Technology Group (UPF), and a concert with Kaustuv Kanti Ganguli (voice) and Tapan Kumar (tabla).
