Forty years after Half Japanese started playing together, and 13 years after the release of their last album, 'Hello' (2001), the group created by brothers Jad and David Fair, pioneers of a DIY aesthetic and lo-fi punk and one of the most influential bands in the history of rock, are back to work wth 'Overjoyed' (2014), produced by John Dieterich of Deerhoof. They're in Barcelona (without David Fair in the line-up) to present this latest work that's surprisingly accessible where their aggressiveness and charisma live together in harmony. Opening the night are local indie band Me and the Bees.
