Guitar BCN 2016: Tommy Emmanuel

Among other things, prodigious Australian guitarrist Tommy Emmanuel is able to reproduce all the nuances of the Beatles songs with just six chords and his own light touch. What John, Paul, George and Ringo did with four instruments and two, three or four voices, Emmanuel manages to do with an impressive technique of fingerpicking. His latest album is 'It's never too late' (2015), an eclectic demonstration of huge talent from a guitar hero who breaks stereotypes: he doesn't let his ego get in the way, yet pays a service to the guitar to make him a one-man orchestra, a complete musician who has played with the likes of Chet Atkins, Eric Clapton, George Martin and John Denver.
