Guitar BCN 2015: Lee Ranaldo

Since Sonic Youth stopped playing together in 2011, Lee Ranaldo has released three albums with The Dust, on top of his extensive solo career that goes back to 1987. A musician, but also a writer and visual artist, Ranaldo places at No 33 on the list of the best guitarists of all time according to 'Rolling Stone' magazine, an honour that's more than well-deserved. He's proved it again with his latest album, 'Acoustic Dust' (2014), which was recorded in Barcelona with Raül 'Refree' Fernández at the sound controls and released on the Sello de Primavera label. This gig is a great way to close the Barcelona connection of the eminent guitarist of Sonic Youth.
