Guitar BCN 2015: James Vincent McMorrow

Irish musician James Vincent McMorrow returns to Barcelona not even a year after his last visit after he made it on to the Spanish charts with a song from his second and latest LP, ‘Post Tropical’ (2014), which appeared in an ad for the Spanish Christmas lottery. 'Post Tropical' is an album that sees the artist adding an electronic twist to his leisurely pop-folk style we discovered with his debut work, 'Early in the Morning' (2011), which led him to be compared to Bon Iver (or, rather, to Justin Vernon). Over time McMorrow has shown himself to have plenty of character and talent in his own right.
