Grec 2013: Raynald Colom

Raynald Colom, an important figure on the current jazz scene, presents his new work 'We Still Insist,' which combines African-American sounds with the musician’s other major influences in recent years, ranging from flamenco to Bartòk and from French chanson to hip hop and the music of Andrew Hill. Onstage is an ensemble of 17 musicians who will perform a suite in four movements sure to impress.
