Grec 2013: Amparo Sánchez & Jazz Machín

She made her debut with the 1997 album 'El Poder de Machín' and disappeared in 2008 with a tour that put an end to the story of Amparanoia to make way for Amparo Sánchez. Using her real name she has created a new personality that has led her to sing with American band Calexico as well as singers Bebe and Arianna Puello, among others. During the 'Off the Record' series of the Grec, Sánchez looks back again to Antonio Machín. She will be accompanied by the Jazz Machín, a Catalan band formed by Celeste Alías, Santi Careta, David Soler and Oriol Roca who share her love for Cuban musician.
