Gambeat Weekend 2014: The Masonics & Miss Ludella Black + Trau + The Dying Shames + Kongsmen

It's the fourth edition of the music festival Gambeat Weekend, bringing that good old sixties sound to Barcelona for a weekend, with a variety of retro styles from rockabilly to soul, from garage to surf and R&B. The first day of this weekender sees the classic British trio The Masonics perform, along with the superstar Miss Ludella Black, who was in the garage band The Del-Monas and Thee Headcoatees; the young London sextet The Dying Shames; refreshing and vital lysergic pop from local band Trau; and the six gorillas that make up The Kongsmen, who do a rock thing that's rooted in the fifties and sixties and is sure to make a whole lotta shakin' go on in BeCool. The night goes on into the wee hours with the help of top-notch DJs.
