English musicial Frank Turner, who's among the new wave of singer-songwriters to come out of hardcore and punk bands, is in Barcelona with his sixth album, 'Positive Songs for Negative People' (2015). In Turner's case, his former band was Million Dead, which was in the same class as American fellow post-hardcore group At The Drive-In. Turner left that all behind in 2005, and a decade and a half-dozen records later he's managed to go from a guy who writes folk-punk songs on his own and performs them, guitar in hand, in basement bars in London to someone who can headline a concert at Wembley (remember his concert at the 2012 London Olympics?). He's in town with his band, The Sleeping Souls, which features Ben Lloyd (guitar, mandolin), Tarrant Anderson (bass), Nigel Powell (drums) and Matt Nasir (piano).
