Forró is a style of Brazilian music characteristic of the north-east of the country, where different Carioca cohabitate happily locals and couples dance while holding on tightly. About seven years ago, Barcelona-based group and pioneer Forró Afiado reclaimed this style that originated at the start of the last century, and they perform live every Wednesday in Sala Monasterio.
