For Beginners with Barry Guy, Joachim Badenhorst, Ivo Sans

In cooperation with the Mixtur festival, dedicated to exploration in sound, the Jamboree hosts the For Beginners concert, with three adventurers who are clear leaders in improvised music: the double bass player Barry Guy, the clarinettist Joachim Badenhorst and the drummer Ivo Sans.

There are few musicians keener on experimentation and researching new forms of musical creation than Barry Guy, as shown in his own projects or alongside musicians including Marilyn Crispell and Agustí Fernández, and even during his brief period as a member of the Michael Nyman Band.
