Time Out says

There is no group in these parts quite so diverse, iconoclastic, and indecipherable as the Filthy Habits Ensemble. They have dared to take on Frank Zappa, have rediscovered the exotica aesthetic making a trip back in time to the 1950s and in the space to the South Seas. Their sounds are progressive, a mix of psychedelia, free jazz, improvisation and even Stravinsky that are part of a musical discourse as elaborate as it is instinctive, colourful, visual and provocative.
