Festival of Piano

The Maria Canals International Music Competition organises events throughout the year in addition to the actual period of the contest. This festival of piano takes place a couple of days before the International Day of Music on June 21, and envisages a Sunday morning full of music for all. There will be four grand pianos set up in the main square of Ciutadella Park, forming part of OFF Maria Canals. Between 10am and 3pm, anyone is welcome to sit and tinkle those ivories, while renowned local pianists will also perform, including Albert Guinovart, Alba Ventura, Lluís Coloma and Ignasi Terraza.
