Her sensual voice has won over audiences around the globe performing a wide variety of music. Some say Concha Buika doesn't do flamenco, jazz, blues or soul, but that she is a genre in herself. Born in Mallorca, Buika is the daughter of Guinean exiles who raised her in Palma. For years her broken voice has been a big little secret in Catlonia. But when she turned up in Pedro Almodóvar's 'The Skin I Live In' (2011), she reached the ears of the whole world. In the coolness of the Pedralbes Festival, Buika will perform from her discography, including her latest album, 'La noche más larga' (2013) on which she was accompanied by the GIOrquestra symphony orchestra.
