Festa Major de Gràcia 2019: Blackcelona Rovira Experience vol. 7

This celebration of music by and influenced by black artists during the Gràcia Festival is back in Plaça Rovira i Trias with concerts on Saturday August 17. For those who enjoy their music under the sun, check out The Crabtones (1pm), a Barcelona band of four who bring us a new reading of classics by The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, but in the key of soul and funk. And when the sun goes down, from 11pm, Mampön reinterpret rhythms of Afrobeat from a psychedelic perspective that's also clearly connected to the most contemporary funk; and The Sick Boys (1.30am) mix rock 'n' roll, R&B, blues and swing in their powerful live show.
