The Jardins de la Sedeta gardens once again fill with the best independent music under a Barcelona summer sky for the 13th edition of Festigàbal, which is back stronger than ever this year on August 17 and 18.
On Friday the 17th you can catch speedy and irresistable pop from the trio Me and the Bees (8.30pm), the psychedelic dreamscape of The Zephyr Bones (9.50pm), the irreverent and undiscovered quartet Sandré (11pm), the energetic duo L'Hereu Escampa (midnight), and epic pop and danceable hedonism from Galicia's Disco Las Palmeras! (1am).
Saturday the 18th brings in live shows from the young electropop trio Agost, winners of the Radio 3 Proyecto Demo competition; from Valencia the atmospheric Jupiter Lion, who have released their third album, 'We Will Lose Gracefully', this year; also from Valencia the young group La Plata (7pm), who, with their debut 'Desorden' (2018), have shown themselves to be one of the season's independent pop sensations; local Barcelona band ZA!, with their impossible combination of math rock, experimental rock, cubist rhythms and sense of humour, who present their latest album, 'Pachinko Plex' (2018); and a DJ session from Museless, one of the revelations on the Spanish electronic music scene, out of Catalonia.
