Festa Major de Gràcia 2018: Blackcelona Rovira Experience

The black music celebration par excellence during the Gràcia Festival is back in Plaça Rovira with two concerts on August 16 and 17. On Thursday the 16th it's Shirley Davis, a new powerful voice in European soul, who, accompanied by The Silverbacks, presents for the first time in the city the songs from her second album, 'Wishes & Wants' (2018). Last year she was to take the stage during the Festival, but her concert was among the events cancelled in the wake of the attacks on La Rambla. She made a promise to come back and perform for Barcelona, and now's your chance to groove along with her as she sees that come true. Opening the night on Friday the 17th is Barcelona-based funk, R&B and acid jazz outfit Molly Varlet, followed by The Slingshots, one of the best bands on the scene in southern Europe.
