Eva Fernández is currently one of the highest rated promising youngsters on this country’s jazz scene. A singer and saxophonist, Eva took her first steps with the Sant Andreu Jazz Band and she now has an album out under her own name under the supervision of Joan Chamorro, in the same way as her contemporaries and colleagues Andrea Motis, Magalí Datzira and Rita Payés have done. Today she leads this line-up, in which the Original Jazz Orquestra from the Taller de Músics, conducted by David Pastor, offers its own particular jazz-style look at the traditional repertoire of Christmas carols in a big band format.
Eva Fernández vocals and sax, Eduard Ferrer vocals, David Pastor trumpet and leader, Roger Martínez and Roser Monforte alto saxes, Nil Mujal and Víctor Verge tenor saxes, Paula Carrillo baritone sax, Jordi Fontanillas, Pablo Fernández, Jaume Torné and Ángel Girón trumpets, Vicent Perez, Eva Garin, Eduard Prats and Pere Alcon trombones, Yeray Hernández guitar, Marco Boi double bass, Lucas Delgado piano, Marco Losada drums.
