Don Giovanni

It's not the norm – in fact we'd go as far as to say that it's unprecedented that three of the most emblematic of Mozart's operas – 'The Magic Flute', 'The Marriage of Figaro' and 'Don Giovanni' – are on the programme in the same season at the Gran Teatre del Liceu. 'Don Giovanni' now takes the stage in a modern production from Kasper Holten. Josep Pons is musical director, and the two main roles are performed by a couple of top-level baritones: Mariusz Kwiecien and Carlos Álvarez.
