DNIT: Gazelle Twin

Gazelle Twin is the alter ego of English artist, performer, composer and producer Elizabeth Bernholz. Her 2018 LP, 'Pastoral', looks at the darker side of the idyllic, oft-misunderstood setting of rural England and critiques the current political situation in the UK. In all of her work, Bernholz generates a global concept in which she creates dystopian and dark universes that she extends to all creative aspects, from musical composition and lyrics to the staging of her live shows. In fact, she invents a new character for each album to help her with the message she wants to convey; in the case of 'Pastoral', it's a 21st-century jester.
