Eleven years after the release of ‘Diapasón’, his second and last album as a solo artist, Chichuelo premieres ‘Una y carne’, a collection of eight bulerías, tangos, guajiras, rumbas, sevillanas, tanguillos and rondeñas that concrete him as one of the most outstanding guitarists on the flamenco scene and, above all, as a remarkable composer. Enrique Morente, Miguel Poveda, Duquende, Mayte Martín, José Mercé and El Cigala have made it clear that Chichuelo is the guitarist that every cantaor wants behind him; a bulería of his, 'No te puedo encontrar', a centerpiece of the film 'Blancanieves' by Pablo Berger, earned him a Goya for best original song, and collaborations with musicians such as Sanjosex and Marco Mezquida show him as an artist without limits, fears or prejudices.
