With his latest album, 'The Happiness Waltz' (2013), American singer-songwriter Josh Rouse separates Mediterranean flavour spiced with jazz and bossanova from his recent albums to get back to his trademark soft pop sound. It's all round and elegant pop melodies engulfed in well-crafted arrangements of string and wind instruments where simplicity and subtlety reign. His style is sincere music without any pretensions other than creating beautiful songs, without unnecessary fuss. Also taking the stage are Barbacoa, the latest venture of Catalan singer-songwriter Jordi Colombí, who's got a fragile voice that's soft but highly expressive.
