Ciutat Flamenco 2017: Flamenkat

This concert/show features great visual and audio contrasts as it attempts to break stereotypes and cross rational, sentimental, cultural and historical borders. It's a tribute to the plurality of sounds that characterise flamenco, featuring traditional forms – soleá, martinete, alegría, guajira, tango, bulería; emblematic songs from the history of the genre, such as 'La leyenda del tiempo' and 'Entre dos aguas'; great composers of classical music who inspired the sounds, such as Manuel de Falla, Mateo Albéniz, Francisco Tárrega; and even new versions of musical and literary repertoires of Catalan origin.
