Carmen

The Gran Teatre del Liceu brings in this production, directed by Calixto Bieito, which caused a scandal when it was originally released in 1875, but over time has it been increasingly accepted. In the lead roles are Béatrice Uria-Monzon and Nikolai Schukoff. With them are the Liceu's choir and orchestra, and Cor Vivaldi. Musical direction by Ainars Rubikis.
