Caprichos de Apolo: Esmerine

Montreal-based band Esmerine, born out of the nucleus of Godspeed You! Black Emperor, transports audiences to Baroque scenes, with the subtlety and energy of times past, while questioning problems of the present. The band has managed to transcend the aesthetics of chamber rock, demonstrating on their latest albums a narrative and stylistic variety that distinguishes them from their contemporaries.
