Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band

The Boss kicks off the European leg of his The River Tour 2016 in Barcelona, one of his favourite cities, along with his faithful E Street Band. The tour coincides with the release of the box set 'The Ties That Bind: The River Collection' (2015), an exhaustive look at the era of Springsteen's celebrated fifth album, 'The River' (1980). The original The River Tour got underway on October 3, 1980, two weeks before 'The River' was initially released, and went on until September 1981, with 140 concerts that left their mark on the global audiences, and that the band are now reliving.
