Time Out says

Mexican American rock singer-songwriter Alejandro Escovedo closes this year's edition of the Blues & Ritmes festival in Badalona. Member of a family saga that includes Pete (Santana drummer), Sheila E (drummer in her own right as well as for Prince) and Javier (soul of the punk group The Zeros), Escovedo has shared the stage with Bruce Springsteen and had his albums produced albums by former Velvet Underground musician John Cale and Bowie's right-hand man Tony Visconti. Escovedo presents his latest album, 'Burn Something Beautiful' (2016), produced by REM guitarist Peter Buck.
